Designer Spotlight: Jessica Dankenbrink

As a Bold Design Sales Manager, Jessica Dankenbrink offers a winning combination of wide-ranging events expertise and bohemian, collaborative design style. A New York native, Jessica worked in catering and at an interior design firm where she learned color concepts and design diagrams, and she’s been at Bold since March 2015. Her event experience includes corporate events on New York City rooftops and a party in the Hamptons for Billy Joel as well as Atlanta events for Arthur Blank and a wedding along the Chattahoochee River. Jessica’s organic, eclectic design sensibility shines through with her creative events that let the client’s personality shine through.

Since Atlanta’s brand-new Mercedes Benz Stadium opened last year, Jessica has designed events at the venue for illustrious corporate clients, taking the sporty, modern atmosphere and making it beautiful. Jessica makes sure to coordinate her designs with both the space and the client’s colors, like the reds and oranges surrounded by candles, silver threaded linens and acrylic clear chiavari chairs on the field level Mercedes Benz club or the clean, modern white tulips and orchids in the darker-hued Delta Sky Lounge.

For a modern, on-trend wedding at King Plow Event Gallery,  Jessica added gold touches throughout the decor, from the ribbon wrapping the white floral and eucalyptus bridal bouquet to the elegant chiavari chairs. Tall floral centerpieces on the tables were both uspcale and understated, lit perfectly by edison bulbs strung throughout the venue.

When designing a themed bar mitzvah, Jessica hit it out of the park with a vintage baseball party that was the perfect combo of kid-friendly cool and grown-up elegance. The Stave Room at American Spirit Works was full of succulents – centerpieces grouped them with moss and vintage baseballs, and they were placed next to stainless steel votives and candleholders filled with grasses and rocks for a natural, laidback vibe. She created custom elements throughout the event, including vintage baseball graphics on the walls and tables. We emblazoned a chain link fence with blue spirit cups to spell out Jonathan’s nickname, JMER – a great personal touch that made sure all the guests knew it was Jonathan’s big day through and through.
